A Festival with a Story

We are not creating a new festival.

We are bringing back a story that left a lasting mark on the hearts of thousands of tango dancers.

Between 2007 and 2014, the Siracusa International Tango Festival became one of the most prestigious and beloved events in the international tango scene.

For many people, it was far more than a festival.

It was a place of encounters, friendships, artistic growth and unforgettable memories.

Today, that story continues.

Steps from the sea, on a golden stone island three thousand years old, tango comes home.

Ortigia is the ancient heart of Siracusa — a UNESCO World Heritage site, a crossroads of Greek, Roman, Arab and Baroque civilizations. Its squares smell of salt and history. Its alleyways seem crafted to welcome the tango embrace.
